Dave Pigeon - How to Deal with Bad Cats and Keep (Most of) Your Feathers was nominated for the Sainsbury's Children's Book Award, the Sheffield Children's Book Award, the Leicester Libraries Our Best Book Awards and it won a Fantastic Book Award, a Surrey Libraries Book Award and the "Read Aloud" category of the North Somerset Teachers' Book Awards.

Its sequel is Dave Pigeon (Nuggets!) and following on from that is Dave Pigeon (Racer!) and Dave Pigeon (Royal Coo!) is the fourth in the series.
